The top for this coffee table is an older exotic slab, probably from the root-ball of the tree. It was found discarded in a basement as part of a larger table that had never been refinished and was covered in paint. The top was reclaimed and refinished with multiple coats of teak oil to bring out the richness of the tight twisted grain. The legs are black 3/4″ wrought iron pipework for an industrial look.
